In this workshop you will learn The Tuning Effect™, an extraordinary new technique that brings together attention, eye movement, and breathing to rapidly produce a strongly felt sense of security and confidence in the body and mind. It is a simple practice that you can use to evoke a positive state of mental and physical well-being by producing an overall sense of self-confidence and relief from emotional stress.
Like learning how to ride a bicycle, swim, type or play a musical instrument, this practice coordinates attention, vision, and action without the need for complex mental processing. The Tuning Effect™ starts from attention to the body; then the conscious mind learns by curious, active observation. Like tuning an instrument, this is a practice with which you can re-tune, or re-set, your positive state of mind and feelings. Once learned, the effects remain deeply felt and long lasting, leading to a renewed sense of stability, calm, and energy. The program will be highly experiential. You will engage in a number of exercises designed to stretch your awareness in general, and to help you learn to center yourself in stressful situations.
