Leaders often come to their positions with extensive technical knowledge and experience but limited development in the skills of leading and accomplishing objectives through others. True leadership, rather than being the practice of power, is the ability to build influence and attract followers. Being influential requires understanding how one’s personal style and presence impact people, in ways intended and unintended.

Using a well-established and proven approach, GISC’s leadership development programs will help leaders capitalize on their individual strengths to become more influential and effective, supporting their ability to lead high performing teams and organizations. GISC’s leadership training approach includes assessment tools, case studies, and a significant emphasis on practice, feedback and reflection.

New Ventures: GISC in Israel

GISC is committed to being an international center and joins with others to offer programs outside the US, with experience in South Africa, Sweden, Mexico, Hungary, Italy, England and Ireland. When working abroad GISC aims to not only teach its own ideas but also to refresh and extend its own knowledge.

Most recently, at the invitation of Efrat Salton MA, MBA of Hod HaSharon, Israel, GISC has formed a committee to develop and lead a Gestalt leadership program in Israel. The committee is co-chaired by Efrat Salton who has extensive experience in leadership training and development in the organizational arena as well as the academic one and Rob Farrands, PhD, who helped design and chair the first three years of GISC’s Leadership in the 21st Century development program. This project is being supported by the GISC senior leadership faculty. Efrat and Rob welcome inquiries through GISC at office@gisc.org.

“Every one of my 100 CEO clients wants to
know how to do things better. GISC programs for leaders grow their power to answer these questions themselves and in a very deep and significant way – a way that will increase the bottom line of their
business and their soul.”

Will Phillips, CEO
