Your Safety is our Priority!
Please note: Given the rapidly changing circumstances surrounding the pandemic, we reserve the right to adjust these guidelines without notice. Please check this page frequently for the most up-to-date guidelines as your program approaches.
We will monitor and closely follow CDC, Massachusetts, and Town of Wellfleet restrictions or guidelines.
When attending programs, GISC will require the following of ALL participants, faculty, and staff:
- Proof of up-to-date vaccine – must be fully vaccinated and boosted with the most recent dose or booster for which you are qualified prior to the program and each subsequent session start date. Link to CDC site and read "When are You Up to Date?" here.
- Proof of negative PCR Covid test administered 48-72 hours before program start and each subsequent session start date.
- Proof or attestation of negative rapid Covid test administered within 24 hours of the program start may be required in addition to PCR test. **Please contact us before your program for our most recent policy regarding testing and whether day-of rapid tests will be required for entry.**
- Per Wellfleet, MA guidelines, masks may be required when moving about the building or seated in programs. (Please check back frequently for updated guidelines.) As of March 1, 2022, Wellfleet does NOT require indoor masking.
- Participants may wear masks any time, at their own discretion.
- Faculty will NOT be required to wear masks in the classroom but may wear masks at their discretion.
- Do not attend sessions if you have symptoms.
- Please note that all faculty and staff will be held to the same guidelines.
Cancellation Policies:
If program cancellation is necessitated due to a government or GISC action, participants may transfer enrollment to a future in-person or online session OR receive a full refund.
If a participant must withdraw within 21 days of the program start due to illness, government action, or other reason, GISC would be happy to transfer enrollment to a future session of the program (in-person or online).
Participant withdrawals more than 21 days before the program start are subject to our normal cancellation policies and are eligible for refund less any cancellation or non-refundable application fees (see program pages and our cancellation policies here.)
Travel:
Given the ongoing levels of uncertainty, we strongly suggest making flexible/refundable travel and lodging arrangements whenever possible.
